In the late 1950's, the U.S. Department of Defense used the drainage
tunnels underneath Los Angeles to secretly transport nuclear weapons
to their Cold War storage facilities in the hills above Pasadena. These tunnels
were eventually abandoned but left unsealed.
In 2003, the mutilated body of immigrant Lucy Hernandez was found dumped
in one of those tunnels. An hour later, it was never seen again. Freelance
journalist Oscar Orlando and his best friend, cameraman Kevin Case, document
their search for the killer through the lense of Kevin's camera. Their
ten day journey leads them into a dark underworld that destroys all who
dare to enter.
Is this murder really what it seems? Why do people keep disappearing in
the tunnels? Who will be next?
This is their story.
This is their footage.
This is their failure.

The Saving of Jessie O '
{A Puerto Rican Misdemeanor - Short Film}
The Saving of Jesse O' is a dark musical comedy about love, gods, saints and betrayal, all set to the music of Willie Bobo and El Gran Combo. In Caribbean folklore, the African gods, which were brought over by the slaves, could only be worshiped by covering or hiding them behind their master's saints. Chango, for example, is also Santa Barbara, Eleggu á /Saint Gabriel, etc. This was done so their Spanish owners would never know to whom they were really praying.
But, what if these gods didn't want to be saints? What if they went on the lamb and hid in human form? What if they co-existed with many deities in the city of fallen angels, better known as Los Angeles? Jessie O', aka Obatala, is being held captive by the 'Man', and, in order to be freed, he calls upon Chang ó , Och ó si, Ogg ú n, and Eleggu á for help at the risk of forced sainthood.
